How Can You Master Lucid Dreaming… “Inception” Style?

A “Lucid Dream” is a dream in which the sleeper becomes fully AWARE that he or she is dreaming. A lucid dreamer can actively participate in and manipulate imaginary experiences in the dream environment, including the people, environment, architecture, physics and nearly any other aspect they choose.

Lucid Dreams can seem extremely real and vivid, depending on a person’s level of self-awareness during the lucid dream. With practice, you can learn to become the master of your dreams, and by extension… your entire life!

Lucid Dreaming feeds into all aspects of the creation process, and if you are dedicated to achieving your highest levels of proficiency, focus and mastery… Lucid Dreaming is an excellent way to gain experience in manifesting your reality.

So… How can YOU master Lucid Dreaming?

Watch this clip from the movie Inception, and notice how “Ariadne” (played by Ellen Page) begins to literally deconstruct the dream in slow motion as soon as she becomes AWARE of the fact she is dreaming:

It all begins with becoming fully AWARE within your dreams. In the movie, Cobb (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) uses a personal object called a “Totem” as a “Reality-Check” to know for sure when he awakes within a dream.

By utilizing a similar “Reality-Check” in your dreams, you can become aware that you are dreaming while consciously creating the Dream. It’s quite an experience, and many people actively utilize these dream states to heal illness, manifest physical changes, and improve any aspect of their lives they desire to improve.

The easiest way to clue yourself into the fact that you are Lucid Dreaming is to focus on looking at your hands during your dreams. When you do, you will become aware that you are dreaming… and aware that you can control the Dream.

Do you want to fly? Breathe under water? Explore distant planets? All of these are as easy as thinking about doing them. Time and space become much more malleable within the Dream. As you progress, you will learn to Dream longer and more fully than you ever knew possible.

Use Your Mind to Manifest Your Reality

You can make this a part of your daily practice by constantly asking yourself:

“Am I dreaming right now?”

Use other reality checks including looking at your watch, in the mirror, or reading a magazine. Often in dreams, you will be unable to read numbers and letters, and objects reflected in the mirror may seem transparent, fuzzy or wavy. These are all indications that you are Dreaming, and your “Wake Up Call” to actively create within the dream.

At this point, you can fully immerse yourself into the content of the dream, even consciously playing ALL characters within the dream while experiencing each persons viewpoint simultaneously.

These are perfect opportunities to replay the days events, garner new knowledge and information about what really happened… and even “Re-Write the Script” Tony Robbins style.

If you had a negative experience, you may dream of watching the experience in a movie theater… then shrinking the screen, turning color to black and white, and eventually fading the entire experience out of existence.

Alternatively, you could replay the scene as you wish it had happened, without all the confusion of conflicting emotions and desires that flooded you in the moment.

Train yourself to bring this clarity into focus during waking life and you will be amazed at what you consciously manifest.

Chime in below… Have you ever had a Lucid Dream? What was your experience in that state, and what did you learn from it?

I appreciate you and I’m here to help,
